Blackpool have signed experienced defender Ian Harte.

The 31-year-old, who has been without a club since leaving Sunderland in June, has signed a month-to-month deal with the Championship outfit.

The left-back has been training with the Tangerines for the past few weeks, having previously had trials at Wolves, Sheffield United and Charlton this season.

Harte is available to face Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
