The club's sprint queen, Laura Davies of Kirkham, was the toast of Scotland, at the weekend, when she took the 100 metres crown at the Scottish Athletics East and West District Closed Senior Championships, at the Meadowbank Stadium, Edinburgh, in a winning time of 12.36 secs.
