DEPITE bad weather, the Kendal District Sunday Football League competition was keenly contested by ten clubs. Oddfellows FC won the Winter Trophy for the third consecutive season, while they also won the newly-introduced Division 1 Trophy.
Pheonix FC won the Seven-a-side trophy and Bridge Hotel won the United Utilities Cup in their first season in the league.
Castle Rangers and North West water shared the Second Division Trophy and the Duke of Cumberland won the Westmorland County FA's Sunday Cup in a well-contested final with Phoenix FC.
