CUMBRIA League leaders Wigton Ladies, arrived to play Kendal Ladies expecting victory, but their opponents produced the best performance of the season for a surprise 3-2 victory.
With three victories under their belt, Kendal adopted a positive game-plan despite an extremely physical contest.
From the outset Kendal took the game to the visitors, aware that Wigton would punish lapses in concentration.
