THERE is a new start time for this year's 10-mile Wilson Run at Sedbergh School.
The runners - mainly sixth-formers and both boys and girls - get away at 2.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
For anyone wishing to walk the route before the race, a guided walk sets off from outside Lupton House at 9.30am.
Exstimated time of duration for the walk is three and a half hours.
Records are rarely set unless there is a warm spring and the holder is Charles Sykes, who clocked 1hr 08min04sec in 1993.
A wintry edge to the weather is expected but the race has been cancelled only three times since it was first run in 1881.
