Wyre Borough Council leader Councillor Russell Forsyth is on the look out for a distinctive picture to grace the front of his corporate Christmas card, a shot that perfectly captures the essence of Wyre in winter.

And he's hoping local lensmen with a creative eye will see it as a chance to showcase their work.

Pictures should be emailed to jsharp@wyrebc.gov.uk by November 17.

The selected photograph will be credited with the photographer's name.
