Plant out bowls of hyacinths and daffodils that have been flowering in the house, before they dry out. Put them in an out-of-the-way-spot, they may flower again next year or they may not!
Look critically at the larger shrubs in your garden. Are they still looking good or have they outgrown their usefulness? Prune them back hard, move them or throw them away and start again if not.
Cut some winter stems and twigs and bring them into the house where you can enjoy them in comfort.
