THREE new charges have been brought against two men suspected of being connected with terrorism. Soner Koyoncu, 30 and Gultekin Onur, 38, both from London, appeared at South Lakes Magistrates Court amid heightened security. They are charged with receiving money; possessing property; and being concerned in funding arrangements all for the purposes of terrorism. The hearing was adjourned for four weeks until February 6 for the preparation of committal papers. Both men were remanded in custody. They have already been charged with raising money for terrorism.
