MUSICAL director of Arnside Choral Society Glyn Hopkins is giving a piano recital at St Thomas's Church, Milnthorpe, on Sunday, January 26 (3pm), featuring music by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin and Ravel. Admission is free but donations are welcome towards the Arnside and Milnthorpe Music Festival on May 3-5, which includes, among a variety of musical treats, Arnside Choral Society performing Mozart's Requiem and a masterclass and performance by tenor Wynford Evans.
