LONG delays are expected on one of Barrow's busiest roads for the next 12-weeks while road improvements are carried out in preparation for the opening of the town's new Morrisons supermarket. The work to the entrance of the supermarket on the A5087 at The Strand started on Monday. Temporary traffic lights have been put up to try and minimise delays. The improve-ments include a new junction, a pedestrian crossing and a new bus stop.
