A VOLKSWAGEN motor caravan driven by a 42-year-old woman from Sedbergh overturned after a tyre blew out while travelling north on the M6 motorway just south of Tebay Services at around 8am on Monday. The vehicle struck the central reservation but nobody was injured in the crash that for a time caused a half-mile tailback. Fire fighters from Shap and Kendal were called to the scene but the occupants of the caravan had been released before they arrived.
