AFTER a fortnight without any action, Kendal Town will be looking forward to tomorrow's UniBond League First Division match with Chorley, a game that could send Town soaring into the play-off places.

Chorley hammered Town 5-0 in the away match back on October 1 their worst defeat of the season.

It came at a time when Town were just entering a dip in form, but recent results would suggest that tomorrow's meeting at Parkside in the Warburton-sponsored match should be a much closer encounter.

Chorley, currently fifth in the table, is just one point ahead of seventh-placed Town.

Town go into the match on a six-match undefeated run and their current total of 38 points is more than they accrued during the whole campaign last season!

Last week the frost ruled out three attempts to get the Marsden Lancashire Junior Cup tie with Barrow played.

The second round local derby was scheduled for Tuesday, then switched to Thursday and finally to Sunday, but each time Barrow's Holker Street ground remained frostbound.

Now the tie has been rescheduled for next Tuesday, kick-off 7.45pm.
