A DRIVE to reduce rail delays by tackling congestion on the network will see fewer South Lakeland services.
With the May 2003 timetable Virgin Cross Country's northbound trains calling at Oxenholme will fall from seven to four, Monday to Friday, and from six to five southbound. Euston to Glasgow services are unaffected by the Strategic Rail Authority's congestion-cutting announcement this week.
