A LANCASTER man has won a security industry gong for teaching Blackpool's parking attendants and street wardens how to keep the peace.
David Pattinson, of city firm Tactical Training Services, was called in by Blackpool Council to teach conflict man-agement skills to the men and women at the sharp end of patrolling the streets.
And his work with the Blackpool staff won David (pictured) a most highly commended' Open Palms trophy at the Security Industry Training Organisation's annual awards cere-mony held in Oxford.
Tactical Training Services is a small Lancaster business that delivers new SIA security compliance training for door supervisors, security guards and CCTV staff.
