AN EVENING of glamour is to be held on Tuesday, February 22, at the Salutation Hotel, in Ambleside.
Deborah Hampsey, owner of Eustacia hair and beauty in Ambleside, has been working hard to put together a floor show of fabulous up-to-date fashion from local retailers such as Rush, Aurora, Marry me, and Caroline Blair. Local models' are being used, and I hear that there may still be an opening for any would-be catwalk girls out there wanting to strut their stuff in some fabulous outfits. The evening, for ladies only, is being held in aid of CancerCare.
Tickets priced at £30 include a four course dinner along with the evening's fashion entertainment, and the chance of being spotted by Deborah and her team: "We will be keeping an eye out for the lady that we think looks the most glamorous among us. She will then be awarded the trophy most glamorous lady of the evening', which she can take home and display until next year's event."
