DIVISION Three Pendle Dyn-amos are this week's headline makers - after dumping Premier Division Westgate Wanderers out of the league cup.

And there was no fluke about the 2-1 scoreline for the college boys, who outplayed the Morecambe side for virtually all the 90 minutes.

It was only a man-of-the-match performance by the Wanderers keeper that limited Pendle to goals from Tom Plothero and Will Baxter, with John Boothroyd scoring the consolation.

Premier Division top dogs Kirkby lonsdale had no such bother in the Westmorland FA Senior Cup, hammering Victoria Sports 11-0 to go through.

But it meant CCM Dynamos were able to draw level at the head of the table thanks to a Darren True goal which decided their game with Marsh Utd.

In a free-flowing game played in an excellent spirit, Marsh keeper Luke Phillips needed to be on his toes to keep CCM out in the early stages.

But once True had made it 1-0 the pressure was all at the other end and it took some desperate defending to seal the victory.

At the wrong end of the table, Boys Club moved out of the relegation zone with a win over fellow strugglers Arnside.

Shane Ogley, Liam Morgan, Richard Chambers and Adam Rawlins were all on target in the 4-0 win.
