Truckfest North West is a brand new two-day event featuring a gathering of hundreds of trucks from throughout the region together with a giant industry exhibition showcasing the latest trucking developments with many other family attractions, trade stands and arena entertainment.

Held over the weekend of Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19, at Haydock Park, there will be the North West debut for the official Hulk' monster truck in an action-packed car-crushing duel against fellow monster truck Bigfoot' the two finest monster trucks in the country.

In addition to these two exciting national competitions, Win a Truck' and Shell National Operator of the Year' will pick their winners over the weekend.

Steve Murty's Backdraft' wheelie fire engine will be in action plus world-famous quad bike ace the Kangaroo Kid' who will be performing alongside top driving stunt man Terry Grant.

For those with more of an interest in celebrities, Coronation Street's Simon Gregson and Suranne Jones (Steve and Karen McDonald, pictured above left) will be visiting on the Saturday and on Sunday. Other special guests will be recent winner of I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here Kerry McFadden (avove) and former star of Boyzone Keith Duffy now the Street's Ciaran McCarthy (above right). Top Radio 2 DJ Johnnie Walker will also be at the show on Sunday alongside truckers favourite Sally Boazman (Sally Traffic) and former Bullseye host Jim Bowen.
