APPLICATIONS are wanted now for a first aid course aiming to help local firms to meet health and safety requirements.
The one-day course on September 16 aims to teach simple life saving skills so that workers can act in an emergency.
Run by the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, it includes a book covering first aid situations, lunch and a Health and Safety Executive approved certi-ficate valid for three years.
Full details are from Janet Askew at Lancaster Chamber of Commerce, Commerce House, Fenton Street.
