THE Briery Wood Hotel, near Windermere, has been put up for sale by its owners Impact International.

Impact is now consolidating the business around two of its three properties in the Lake District, Cragwood and Merewood Country House Hotels.

David Williams, Managing Director at Impact said: “It was a difficult decision to sell Briery Wood as we have put so much hard work into developing it. The staff team are very special and we will all have great memories of the place. Our business is changing and we want to focus our attention on growing internationally and developing our two remaining hotels as world class resorts in their own right.”
