POLICE are searching for the driver of a vehicle thought to be linked to a series of farm thefts in South Lakeland.
Between November 28 and 29 an orange Stihl chainsaw and a petrol strimmer were taken from Cautley Farm, in Whassett, Milnthorpe.
A black Mitsubishi L20 pick up truck was seen acting suspiciously in the farmyard during the day but nobody was seen to remove any items.
Cumbria police are warning local farmers to be aware of this vehicle as it has been seen in several locations around the South Lakes where thefts have occurred.
Anyone with information should contact PC Ayres at Milnthorpe Police on 0845 33 00 247.
