MAJOR development plans for Barrow port are set to be unveiled next week.
The scheme, which aims to attract inward investment and boost the local economy, involves a number of ambitious proposals, including a 23-hectare innovation park, a marina village, waterside homes, a power boat racing centre, a cruise ship terminal and a submarine heritage centre.
Details of the proposed £100 million public and private sector-backed project will be disclosed at a display at Forum 28, Barrow, which runs from November 26-28.
