Two men have been arrested after a spike in vehicle thefts was reported across Kendal.
A 20-year-old and a 17-year-old were taken into police custody on Monday, with the stolen property subsequently recovered by officers.
This coincided with reports of numerous other night time thefts occurring throughout the town.
The South Lakes Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Enquiries are continuing into this recent crime series and we are keeping an open with regards further suspects.
"We are still encouraging anyone with CCTV, door bell footage or any information that might assist us to get in touch either on 101, through our website or send us a DM on Facebook or X [formerly Twitter]."
