A man in Kendal has been arrested after a number of stolen bikes were found in his home.
The 47-year-old male had his property searched by police officers on Monday, who uncovered the stolen items.
This followed an incident on Saturday, February 17, in which the bikes were reported as being taken.
The South Lakes Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "If you or anyone you know living in Kendal have been subject to a crime, particularly theft of a bike and have not reported it to us yet please get in touch on 101 or report online on the Cumbria Police website.
"It's really important that we can bring appropriate charges but we have to be able to demonstrate that any property we have recovered actually belongs to you."
