A SCHOOL will stage its annual Christmas Festival at The Coronation Hall on December 13.
Ulverston Victoria High School's (UVHS) event will start at 7.30pm. Last year, the event returned for the first time to the hall after two years of cancellations during Covid. It was led by the UVHS Wind Band, which treated the audience to festive music and audience carols.
Assistant headteacher Richard Butler said: "All students have been working hard to perform another entertaining programme which will, as usual, consist of audience carols, festive music and seasonal readings."
The school is celebrating having some of the best exam results for music in the country for a state school, and the band's concert tour to France in July.
UVHS will stage another concert with the Royal Marines on Saturday, April 27 next year.
