BUSINESS is really taking off for a high-flying South Lakeland business team that has more than one string to its bow.
For business partners Kevin Meacham and Ryan Probert are the brains behind not one but three successful commercial operations.
The pair run a wholesale business, Express Equipment, selling hand tools to retail customers all over the country, and they are also at the helm of an expanding quad bike firm, selling direct to the public and supplying other retailers.
Now they have branched out by selling radio-controlled models, ranging from miniature planes and helicopters, to cars, ships and even army tanks.
They have opened a shop, R/C Direct, at Shap Road, Kendal, that is filled with an Aladdin's cave of models in all shapes and sizes, selling from £20 to as much as £400.
