THE M6 northbound, between junctions 35 and 36, is blocked after a vehicle toppled off the trailer it was being carried on.
The 4x4 Subaru, which was being towed by a van on a double-wheeled car trailor, came loose and overturned, blocking all three lanes of the carriageway near Carnforth at 4pm today (Friday).
Traffic was delayed as fire crews hurried to clear the road.
No one was hurt.
