THE woman behind Kendal's new international street arts festival called Mintsfest will give a glimpse of what will be on offer at the event when she addresses next Wednesday's meeting of Kendal Neighbourhood Forum.
Julie Tait will outline the benefits of the festival, which will be held from August 31 to September 2, when she speaks at the forum at Kendal Town Hall, starting 7pm.
Also on the agenda, Nick Raymond, Area Engineer with Cumbria County Council, will talk about the Kendal Transport Plan and steps that are to be taken to help reduce car use and encourage more sustainable ways of getting around in Kendal.
Finally local resident, Paul Holdsworth, will talk about the 'street audit' undertaken with neighbours in the Fellside area with a view to encouraging walking and improving the environment.
