HARD work and dedication has paid off for a talented team of staff in Kendal who have scooped a national sales dealer award.
The sales staff at Kentdale Land Rover, in Shap Road, were named Land Rover National Sales Dealer of the Year for 2007.
Members of the team collected the accolade at the 4x4 manufacturer's annual awards ceremony in Oslo, Norway.
The award recognises dedication to sales, customer service and professionalism.
Colin Shepherd, dealer principal at Kentdale Land Rover, said: "Being named as the national sales dealer of the year is a great honour and this award pays testament to the hard work and determination of our loyal staff.
"Last year, 2006, was an outstanding year for us and we aim to build on this success across all areas of the business over the next 12 months, ensuring that we remain one of the leading Land Rover dealerships in the UK."
All 130 Land Rover dealerships in the UK contested the award.
The top three dealerships from nine regions then travelled to Norway to battle it out for the top spot in a physical and mental event designed to test initiative, strategic thinking and team work.
