Leon Lopez
SOAPSTAR Superstar Leon Lopez will be joining local bands in a special event at Morecambe's Dome next Friday (March 23).
Leon, who appeared on the TV celebrity talent show and also stars in Channel 4's Hollyoaks In The City, will be guest compere as bands from More Music's Stage One project respond to the Morecambe Bay cockling tragedy with a special showcase of songs dealing with themes of journeys and displacement.
The event, which is also being hosted by Bay band Tin Soldiers, is the opener for a five day Long Walk Festival being put on by More Music in Morecambe. It will feature music from D'Rhyme Intervention, Stages Live, Pandemonium, The Dhamak Collective and Article 48.
