Mark Danks and George Clegg both scored twice as a Worcester laboured to a 4-1 victory against brave and battling Lancaster City.

The Dolly Blues gave the hosts a tough time despite finishing the game with 10 men after Lee Sparks was forced off with an Achilles injury with all three subs used.

Worcester were 3-0 up before the break but City made the crowd edgy when Aaron Heliwell slotted home a 69th-minute penalty.

A third could have followed four minutes later when Adam Webster met Cornes' corner to fire past Brindle but Lyttle was judged to be holding in the box.
