IF YOU have a penchant for sculpture, you should beat a path to the doors of Farfield Mill Arts and Heritage Centre.
There again, if you don’t, you should still go, as the Cumbrian Sculptors show could be your grand introduction to a shapely and engaging new world.
Running at the Sedbergh venue until December 3, it stars some of the finest shape makers in the county.
Set up in 1998, the group has 29 members with the aim of giving sculpture a higher profile, promoting its use in the home, garden and public places.
Brigid Edge, Don Foxley, Pamela Lupton, John Keith Wood and David Pearson are just some of the sculptors exhibiting work ranging from items in soapstone and bronze, resin stone, wood carvings, sheet metal, creating abstract and figurative pieces, as well as ceramic sculptures and much more.
