MORECAMBE will be nice and sleazy next weekend when dozens of bands descend for an annual punk fest.
This year's Nice n Sleazy fest, which runs Friday to Sunday (May 25-27), is in its second year and will feature Denmark rockers "Weed" as the headliners.
Other acts on the Trimpell Stage guest list include Goldblade, the UK SUBS and Londoners The DeBretts who will kick start proceedings on Friday night.
Lancaster's Guilty Pleasures and Morecambe newcomers Death in Public, winners of the recent battle of the bands at the Trimpell club, will also be taking to the stage.
Promoter Ivan Harrison is a fan of the latter. "Believe me this band is going places. I've seen just about all the top bands over the years, and for a band to play so confidently after being together only six months or so, they deserve to make it. Catch them on the Sunday."
Ticket prices for this year's festival, which is on Out Moss Lane, are £20 for the weekend (Fri to Sun) in advance or £25 on the door. Or you can get Friday tickets on the door for £10, or Saturday and Sunday tickets for £13.50 each in advance or £15 each on the door.
