If you fancy doing something really spooky, Blackpool's Grand Theatre is the place to be on November 20.

It is holding a ghost tour to allow the public to see behind the scenes at the theatre and view areas that few have the opportunity to see during daylight hours.

Visitors will then be taken by a guide through the corridors of time to learn about tales of ghostly sighting and spine-tingling experiences.

Hear about the props that moved of their own accord, walk over the bridge 30ft above the stage if you dare or sit in the darkened auditorium while the clocks strike midnight!

Derek Acorah brought his Ghost Towns series to the theatre last year and during his investigation into the ghosts of the theatre, he and his co-presenters heard and experienced strange sounds, movement and sights from beyond.

All proceeds will go to phase two of the Grand Theatre restoration appeal - The Sam Lee Appeal.

The New Moon Ghost Tour starts at 11pm on Monday, November 20, with a buffet in the Studio at the Grand in Blackpool. Tickets cost £10 and are available on 01253 290190. The tour will end around 1pm. Please bring along a torch.
