Blackpool was transformed into a sea of colour on Saturday as about 8,000 people gathered in town for the third annual Pride festival.

The event kicked off with the parade down the Promenade in the afternoon, and continued well into the evening and throughout Sunday with events at North Pier and musical performances from many top stars.
