Fylde need a victory at Webb Ellis Road against Rugby Lions tomorrow to keep alive their slim chances of getting into the play-off position in National Three (North).
The two clubs are locked together in fourth and sixth place with 56 points, along with Harrogate and have similar records this season with good periods followed by inexplicable defeats.
Fylde put in one of their best performances of the season when they beat the Lions by 42-17 at the Woodlands in November.

Rugby Lions had a poor start to the season losing four of their first five games but have gradually pulled things around thanks, in particular, to an outstanding home record.
They've been virtually unbeatable at Webb Ellis Road with nine successive wins, including a victory over Tynedale in November immediately prior to their defeat at the Woodlands.
Under head coach Mark Ellis, the Lions' strength is in their big and powerful pack and perhaps their most impressive forward at the Woodlands was the highly mobile lock or backrower Stuart Riding who has already notched seven tries. Winger Ade Hales is the Lions' leading try scorer this season with 11 to date, with Prosser-Shaw on eight.
Fylde were disrupted with players coming and going against Macclesfield but they were superficial blood injuries.
New signing from Sedgley Park Steve Nutt will have a fitness test on an injured shoulder and centre Alex Hurst's ankle injury will also be monitored.
Nutt will hope that he does make the game as he played a leading part in orchestrating Fylde's win at the Woodlands in November when on a brief loan deal.
