Fylde have signed outside centre or winger Tom Albinson.
The 22-year-old was in the Sedgley Tigers senior squad from 2004, along with twin brother and scrum-half Jamie, and has made 32 appearances in National One.
He left Sedgley at the end of last season and has been playing at Waterloo since the summer.
The former Kirkham Grammar School product has representative experience for England Under 18s and at various age levels for Lancashire.
Mark Nelson, Fylde director of Rugby, said: “Tom is a strong, quick back who runs good lines and is a resolute defender.
“He’ll be an excellent addition to our squad. If we can complete the formal registration procedures in time then he'll be in the squad to face Nuneaton on Saturday.”
Albinson takes the squad place of Dan Loader who, due to visa reasons, has left the club and returned to Australia.
