Blackpool continued their woeful season when they went down by 91 points to 7 at their Mossom Lane ground.

Bolton opened the scoring within 2 minutes of kick off when they scored an unconverted try. They continued to score at will throughout the match amassing a total of 91 points.

Blackpool only really came into the game for the last 15 minutes of the first half when, after some concerted forward pressure where they were camped in the opposition 22 metre area, they managed to score.

Scrum half Phil Raw squirmed his way through a packed Bolton defence to score under the posts and give stand off Sean Donnelly an easy conversion.

Again Blackpool were lacking in the tackling department, letting the opposition run through them at will.

The home side are resigned to the fact that they are going to get relegated this season and are providing opposition to the other side.

They hope to re-group next season and, once consolidated, they can push again for promotion back up into the higher leagues.
