Blackpool continued their terrible run of defeats when they lost 86 - 0 at home to Trafford MV and again they failed to register any points on the score sheet.

At the start it looked as though Blackpool were going to compete this fixture when they applied pressure to the visitors defence.

Again they were unable to convert this pressure into points and, after the 10th minute, their heads dropped and this allowed Trafford to get back into the game and begin to notch up the score.

They managed to score45 before the break without any reply from the home side.

At the start of the second half, it looked as if the harsh talking from the coaching staff was beginning to pay dividends when Blackpool limited the visitors to only 15 points in the first 15 minutes and the home side also looked like they might get some points on the board.

Although they were never going to win the game at least they looked as thought they were going to break their duck and get the first points of the season; alas this was not to be so as they went back into their shells and allowed the Trafford side to again come back into the game.

The visitors now seemed to score at will and managed to run up a score of 86 - 0 at the final whistle.

So it's back to the drawing board for Blackpool as they try to get that elusive first point and first win.

They need to pull something out of the bag soon otherwise they will be well and truly in the relegation dogfight, something they wish to avoid.
