A stunning comeback earned Kirkham and Wesham victory at Wembley in the final of the FA Vase yesterday.
The non-league side capped a magical season, coming from a goal down against Lowestoft Town to score twice in the final six minutes to win the trophy in front of 4,000 fans who had travelled from the Fylde coast.
And it was 17-year-old striker Matt Walwyn, hero of the semi-final and on as a half-time substitute yesterday, that scored both goals, the winner deep into injury time.
