KIRKHAM & WESHAM FC boss Mick Fuller is pulling out all the stops in a bid to see his side reach the last eight of the FA Vase at Crowborough
on Saturday.
Fuller, who has led his side to within three games of Wembley has signed experienced ex-Blackpool pros Matt Shaw and Scott Metcalfe in a bid to bolster the strength of his squad ahead of the clubs important trip to Sussex at the weekend.
Having already knocked five step five clubs out of the competition this season and one from step six, Kirkham will go into Saturday's Fifth Round
FA Vase clash with arguably their strongest squad ever in a bid to hand the competitions second favourites for the trophy a knockout blow.

Fuller said: "We are quietly confident of what we have to do.
"It's a massive game for the club, the biggest we have faced yet in our history and nothing would please me more than to be involved in Monday's Sixth Round draw."
Shaw, a striker of some repute arrives at the club having played his early career at Bloomfield Road, as has defender Metcalfe.
"They have both been recommended to me," said Fuller.
"Both lads will join the party for Crowborough and could play a part at some stage."
Kirkham have slight doubts about defenders Paul Eastwood (calf) and Allan Jackson (groin), but should welcome back defender Tony Keefe and striker Mark Wane, who were both rested in last Saturday's 1-0 win over Ashton Town in the Second Division Trophy, and club skipper Dougie Shaw, who sailed through his comeback game for the reserves at New Mills on Saturday.
And in a bid to see the club in the hat for the last eight, the side will travel in luxury to Sussex on board Blackburn Rovers FCs team coach and stay overnight on Friday at one of the country's leading hotels near Royal Tunbridge Wells in a bid to get the team in the right frame of mind.
"No stone has been left unturned in our preparation," added Fuller.
"I want the lads to enjoy themselves, but more importantly to be in the right frame of mind for Crowborough."
And the town's supporters are backing their new found heroes too as a coach will leave the town at 6am on Saturday from Market Square for the trip south.
Anyone wishing to book a place on the coach to see the club take on Sussex County League leaders Crowborough Athletic can do so by calling 01253 692808 or 07910 555403.
