KIRKHAM and WESHAM'S attractive FA Vase Fourth Round tie at Kellamergh Park on Saturday has fallen foul of the week's long rains.
Standby referee Tom Conway from Bamber Bridge made a lengthy pitch inspection at first light and gave the ground the thumbs down.
He said: "You just can't roll a ball in places, and besides that players would struggle to turn on this."
The game has already been re-arranged for next Saturday 26 January at 3pm.
Tickets purchased for the tie today will become valid for the re-scheduled date.
