Fylde Rugby Club's women's community rugby and fitness programme is taking off this summer.

Using the excellent facilities at the Woodlands home of this top rugby club, rugby training sessions are taking place every Saturday morning for women 18 years old and over, from 11am-12.30pm.

Coaching is delivered by Shelley Atkinson.

For absolute novices or for those women 16 years and over looking to get or keep fit this summer then they're invited to come along to the club's new 'Rugby Fit for Women' programme.

This is based on non-contact rugby games and is intended for pure enjoyment and fun.

Everyone is welcome and there is no cost. These sessions begin on Thursday 15 May, 7pm-8pm, and will run at the Woodlands throughout the summer.

For more information call the club's community development officers, Dave Wilks or Alan Holmes, on 01253 734733 or click the link below.
