A tense week for all Blackpool FC fans and staff came to a jubilant end as the team secured their status as a Championship club.
The Tangerine's secured the point needed to stay up with a 1-1 draw against Watford, who themselves had a lot to play for, just scraping into the last play-off place by virtue of goal difference.
There was a carnival atmosphere at Bloomfield Road, which was magnified at the end of the game as both sets of supporters went away happy.
Blackpool will now enjoy the financial benefits of another season in the second tier and club chairman Karl Oyston said that was a fitting reward for the supporters who he described as fantastic'.
