Keigan Parker's Blackpool career looks to be over after the striker was forced to undergo surgery on an abductor muscle problem.
The 25-year-old Scot, who scored the second goal in the Seasiders 2-0 win over Yeovil at Wembley in last season's Play-Off final, will not be fit before the end of the season, and is to leave Bloomfield Road in the summer.
Parker's final game in Tangerine was on March 15, when he came on as a substitute in the 0-0 home draw with local rivals Preston North End.
He netted 41 goals in 155 games for the Seasiders after being signed by Colin Hendry from St Johnstone in 2004.
