At Stanley Park Blackpool were put in to bat against Netherfield and made 185 for 7 in their 50 overs, Luis Reece top scored with 42 followed by captain Paul Danson with 40 not out and 39 from David Newton.

In reply Netherfield could only manage 142 runs, Graeme Dodds top scoring with 32, Grahame Clarke 28, Chris Parry 27 and Craig Walmsley 18 making double figures.

Blackpool professional Justin Kreusch finished with 3-48 ably backed up by Luis Reece 2-33 and Richard Gleeson 2- 17.

Fleetwood elected to bat at Birch Hall and made 154, James Ellis 41, Michael Clinning 33 and professional Paul Harris 28 the main scorers.

Darwen were going well but then collapsed and finished two runs short.

Keith Semple scored 62 with Atif Ashraf and Gareth Cordingley both out for 21. Zac Taylor was the Darwen destroyer taking 5-30.

St Annes put Lancaster in to bat at Vernon Road and reached 191-7 after 50 overs.

Captain Tim Barry top scored with 64 with pro Jannisar Khan 60 and an unbeaten 22 from David Heywood.

St Annes pro Adam Griffith had 3-52 and Michael Baer 2-47. Openers Adrian Darlington and Ian Austin got St Annes off to a flying start with an opening partnership of 124.

Austin made 68, Darlington 64 with Duncan Whalley 31 not out and Stephen Twist 27 not out steering St Annes to an eight wicket victory
