A Blackpool pool player was right one cue as he became the first Englishman to take a world crown.
Daryl Peach, 35, who trains for matches at Riley's snooker club in Church Street won $100,000 richer as he took the World Championship title in Manila, Phillipines, in the early hours of this morning.
He beat Roberto Gomez 17-15 to capture the prize in a match lasting around five hours.
