The weather continues to play havoc with the local cricket leagues with all Palace Shield Premier League and 3D Sports Northern Premier League matches abandoned last Saturday due to the rain.
If the rain stays away this Saturday, Preston will face Leyland at Fox Lane.
Palace Shield Premier League fixtures are: Croston v Withnell Fold; Garstang v Fulwood & Broughton; Great Eccleston v Penwortham; Longridge v Freckleton; Thornton Cleveleys v BAC/EE Preston and Whittingham & Goosnargh v Vernon Carus.
The cup games to be played on Sunday are: Meyler Cup quarter finals: Thornton Cleveleys v Vernon Carus and Great Eccleston v Freckleton. Loxham Cup: Vernon Carus v Fylde.
