A team lead by Alan Read from the Warwick Hotel, Blackpool, were the winners of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers Charity Golf Day beating the previous winners BusinessLand ITC Limited into second place.
The event, which included 18 holes of golf and dinner, was organised by the Northern office of The Princess Royal Trust for Carers at Ingol Golf Club, Preston.
The team, Lampsavers.Com, were sponsored by Teletronics Ltd and included former England footballers, Dave Johnson and Alan Kennedy.
They scooped the trophy and a host of prizes during the event which raised more than £2,000 for the charity and will be used to support carers in the region.
Carole Cochrane, northern regional manager, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, said: "We had fantastic support and thanks to everyone who helped make the event successful, the players, the organisers and the sponsors.
"Congratulations to Lampsavers.com on gaining the title which BusinessLand ITC retained for two years. We are now looking forward to the 2008 event."
