Andy Hogarth returned his second five-wicket haul of the season as Blackpool won a low-scoring Northern Premier League match at Stanley Park against Kendal.
The former Freckleton seam bowler took 5 for 9 as the visitors were dismissed for 89, veteran Terry Hunte top-scoring with 37.
Kendal pro' Ross McMillan replied with a spell of 5 for 19 but opener Luis Reece (23) held the Blackpool innings together and Hogarth (5 not out) was there at the end.
Mike Clinning produced a brilliant all round display for Fleetwood but they fell just one wicket short of vcitory in a thrilling game at Barrow.
Clinning hit 14 boundaries in an outstanding innings of 106 that underpinned his side's total of 174.
Barrow's 14-year-old leg-spinner Liam Livingstone took 5 for 56 and Sri Lankan pro Pasan Wanasinghe 4 for 25.
Barrow looked well set for victory after Darren Clark's fine innings of 55 but Clinning stepped in with a spell of 4 for 44 to leave the home side 10 runs short of victory with one wicket remaining in a tense finale.
St Annes conceded the highest total of the season so far as Netherfield amassed 263 for 7 and suffered a 124-run victory. New captain Chris Parry hit 95 and Australian professional Callum Ferguson 80 as the pair shared a second wicket partnership of 168.
In-form Stephen Twist returned 4 for 64 and then top-scored with 52 as St Annes were dismissed for 139 as Marc Hadwin took 5 for 27. The last five St Annes wickets fell for the addition of just nine runs.
Leyland remain top of the table after securing a winning draw against fourth-placed Morecambe at Woodhill Lane.
Blackpool were beaten by five wickets by Horwich RIM in the Cockspur Cup last Sunday.
