Chorley were 23 runs short of their target at close of play at Windsor Park, chasing a St Annes total of 184 for 9.
The visitors were largely indebted to a fine innings of 95 by professional Atiq-Uz-Zaman, well-supported by Stephen Twist with 31.
For Chorley, veteran left-arm spinner Rex Purnell bowled throughout the innings to take 5 for 86 from 25 overs and professional Friedel de Wet picked up 2 for 31 from fourteen economical overs.
Chorley lost four early wickets in reply but a strong partnership between Will Moulton with a fighting knock of 70 and Andrew Holdsworth (24) steadied the innings
